SOBRIETY WITHOUT STIGMA

A support group run by sex workers for sex workers

 

At Sobriety Without Stigma we offer a non-judgemental, religion-free, supportive environment for sex workers to gather for support as they journey toward or continue their sobriety.

 

Sobriety Without Stigma is not “addiction specific”. Whether alcohol, pharmaceuticals, street drugs, body image management, financial mismanagement or gambling, quitting can be hard both mentally and physically.

 

We offer a safe, supportive environment that lends itself to a comfortable conversation to discuss our efforts and our successes, and sometimes even our failures as we traverse a cleaner healthier lifestyle.

 

Very casual, Sobriety Without Stigma is not structured. We do not have a book. We won’t have readings. We will tell our stories anecdotally, share a few laughs and a few hugs, and give each other strength.

 

We will meet on Whyte avenue in a comfortable, judgement-free space or virtually through google meets.  Please contact sobriety@answersociety.org

 

The meetings will be run by sex workers for sex workers, and we will have a different moderator each week from within the group.
